Poor little block of tofu! It'll never know what hit it, and it looks so cute. I never have had any luck with the stuff myself. No matter what I've tried to do, all the tofu I've ever eaten has tasted like solid boredom. But maybe I'm missing something because he certainly looks happy with his prey!
Heh... The secret is to never cook tofu alone: it takes on the flavor of whatever you cook it with. It's really bland by itself, but you can make it taste like pretty much anything. It's especially effective when put in a covered dish with something else while cooking. If you use a microwave, you can put it in a microwavable dish with fish or meat and vegetables, cover, and cook. It can also be cooked with various sauces and it will absorb the flavor (besides curry, my dad used to use it in pasta sauce).
It's an adorably amusing piece of work. :3
I did notice that your lines were less noticeable then they were in some previous pictures posted, but still the same lovable style that I enjoy looking at from you.
I find that I looked at the picture and then started to tell you this, but I just looked at your comment before ending this little bit. I feel kinda retarded. XD

I'm sure I speak for more than myself when I say this but your work is so gorgeous it's hard for me to imagine any way it could possibly be improved. And here, you're finding ways. I adore the tofu's relaxed posture amidst the unfolding carnage, and you definitely succeeded on 3D-ifying this. I tried to remove my 3d glasses twice after viewing it!

Thank you =D I'm glad you like it.
A few years ago I tried to do a lineless style, but I was using different media at the time (markers and colored pencils, and I left the linework in pencil).. and I got some pretty mixed responses to it, but more of the responses I found were pretty negative, and so i reverted back to using the linework... and I've kindof been afraid to try again ever since. But then I started getting criticism the other way around - that the lines were making the characters look flat - and i'm like, well, I guess I've got nothing to lose by trying again... ^.^

Oh wow. The tofian (as I have named it) is damn cute >w< And when I read about the toning down on the lineart I was like 'Noooo!' but I have to say it's better ^_^'
All the proportions are spot on, and I can't find much of a flaw in this at all. It's a really nice, clean style you've got there.
5 unsuspecting tofians out of 5!
