This work meant a lot for me, because the theme as the character was very close to me, and I felt like I drew this work for myself more than the commission, very rare feeling. There were no feeling of pressure or duty as usually, and it was a big pleasure to work with B&W which I used for my personal works only in the past.

This work is inspired by the painting by Adolph William Bougureau "evening mood". It shows the moment of becoming free after years being in the "golden cage"
