A drawing I had done lineart for, and was just a doodle, that turned into my first painting after my brother passed away.
I love birch trees, they're my favorite tree. The snow combined with the glow of the sun really makes me feel like I'm home. The bear's colors are purple and yellow as those are my mother's favorites. In a way, I guess this became her. A mother bear that lost one of her babies.
And yes, the title is a pun on my favorite drink, birch beer.
