Now that's sure beautiful! What I like in that scene is how it doesn't tell us anything on who that white wolf actually was. it wasn't even confirmed that wolf was his mother until the end of the sequel Balto Wolf Quest and even then they seem different such as the white wolf being humongous and having black eyes while Aniu was average sized and had yellow eyes. It could have been her or how he remembered her (which would explain her size), it could have been his 'inner wolf', a spirit, or just a random wolf, whatever it was the point of the scene was Balto had to accept and be happy with what he is and that there's no changing it. and man is it the most powerful scene in the movie. So many have redrawn or animated it and I love every single one. ^^
