Well normally I don't do art that looks like a rainbow puked on it, but if any critter deserves such treatment it's the mantis shrimp. Neither a shrimp nor a mantis, these little guys can be incredibly colorful and live off the coast of Australia. A mantis shrimp can use its claws to punch as hard as a low-caliber bullet so they are known for occasionally breaking out of aquariums.

Someone over on DeviantArt gave me the idea of a mantis shrimp anthro, and I just had to draw a horribly busy colorful picture of it.
