Here is the "Fortana RGAB" (Fortana is the name of the planet where this weapon was created, and RGAB stands for "Rail Gun Anti Blindage" / "Anti Armor Rail Gun" in English) This is an anti-armor railgun rifle. It is used mainly by tank hunter squads. Its role is simple, give the infantry the means to repel enemy armored support vehicles effectively. But why an anti-tank rifle? Didn't it become obsolete after the Second World War? Well, yes, but actually no ... A railgun rifle is far more powerful. Firing a rocket at a mech is effective, but sometimes it can fail due to countermeasures, and it takes time to reload... Vulpix military engineers then brought out an old design brought up to date, which could well become formidable again. 

A Vulpix squad with several of its weapons, entrenched, camouflaged, and firing from a distance, is capable of single-handedly carving entire battalions of mech and light armor. However, this weapon will have a hard time piercing the heavier and more armored vehicles. This weapon can also be used against large creatures, the velocity of the projectiles can pierce almost any shell or armor and flesh and do monstrous damage and wounds. The only downside, the considerable weight of the weapon, which is often dragged on the ground using its ski-shaped bipod, or carried on the back by a soldier. The weapon can also be placed on a tripod. 


The batteries in these weapons is a little bigger, and even if the Vulpix are really advanced in making those kinds of batteries, the railgun uses so much energy that after 500 shots, the battery has to be replaced and recharged.


With its 20mm AP and APHE ammunition powered by a powerful and long magnetic rail, this weapon can pierce a wide range of armored vehicles, especially mechs. With its 10 round magazine. this weapon can take out almost any combat mech with 1, 2 or 3 shots.
