I've been drawing lots of realistic stuff and technical stuff for practice lately and needed to vent my cartoony urges for a moment. This is what spilled out into my sketchbook.
I think Feep inserted herself into the image because she insisted on sitting next to me while I drew this, occasionally reaching out to poke at my thigh just to remind me she was there. If I continued to ignore her she'd dig her claws in a bit. Brat.
So, a quickie doodle done in my sketchboook, then colored up in photoshop. Wheee!

Feep seems just like my cat! She sleeps on my comp tower, which sits next to my legs under the desk. Every so often I feel this little paw.. <tap... tap...> if I don't scratch her <CLAWS>
I did get the chance to laugh at her though. She once fell asleep on the tower and fell off, directly onto my feet! I was laughing so hard as she stalked out from under the desk, tail twitching and that cat look of "I meant to do that", to go hide under the bed...

Feep is just like mah gran's old cat, Sooty. To mah gran, she was a sweet lil kitten, to everyone else she was a chainsaw with fur who would stalk and ambush you!! This cat attacked a DOBERMAN, turnin' herself into a black furry facemask of spittin', clawin', bitin' and peein' fury. Dog ended up with 20 stitches in its face. Sooty just looked ebilly happy about the damage, as she cleaned her claws.
