nothing goes to waste in the caves, including unclaimed items and apparel that adventurers leave behind one way or another.
the latent chaotic energies may eventually animate these items into scrap amalgams that usually take the shape of humanoid or animal analogs with a basic predatory instinct to create more lost treasure in the caves.
this small theropod analog made of leather scraps and a coin may not look like much, but were it to ambush an unaware fortune-seeker they may find themselves strangled!
