Vega Beast Gabi Gabi was the 76th Monster in order of Appearance in who fought in Episode 70 of the Anime UFO Robot Grendizer, and was the piloted by Commander Shuler.

It was a bestial humanoid Beast, with Green Blue skin, a Red Torso and Pelvis, with white fur legs; It's right arm ended with a black color ax crafted to it and white tentacles were strap in the chest. It's head resembles that of a vampire, with long pointy ears. Besides its Ax, Gabi combat abilities include flight, spewing fire from the mouth and discharge Vegatron energy from its tentacles. A cockpit was located in between the Beast's eyes.

Maria begins to have dreams of voices of her mother and visions of her father been held prisoner, and heads to the Space Center to take off on her Spazer but is cut out of her trance by Duke; unbeknownst to them, this was a telepathic ruse by Lady Gandal who was tricking Maria. She send Commander Shuler to capture her, and departs to Earth on Gabi Gabi. The Next day, Maria tells the others of her Dreams, believing her father to be alive and held by Vega, inside a beast, but Daisuke has a hard time believing this, as he witness the bodies of both his Parents the day of the invasion, and recommends her to forget, despite Maria's vision sometimes becoming true. Later, while enjoying lunch with Dambi, Umon calls to inform them of the incoming Beast; Duke, Koji and Maria go to confront it. Duke holding suspicions of Maria's visions, requesting Koji to keep an eye on her.

Grendizer encounters the Beast who comes out of the capsule and fights, blocking the Mecha's attacks with its Battle Ax. Maria recognizes the Beast as the one in her dreams and warns Duke, who (distracted) is caught by Gabi's tentacles and zapped with Vegatron Radiation, harming his old wound. Then under orders of Lady Gandal Shuler flies to Maria, who sees her "father" in the Beast's Cockpit – the Beast escapes towards Hokkaido and the duo recovers Duke, who is later treated for Radiation Poisoning.

Maria explains the situation to Daisuke once more, this time believing their father to be alive as the Voice her mother said, but Daisuke is reminded of the time a Vega Agent passed for his Mother in another Trap set by Vega. Koji, understanding her feelings well, flies with Maria to Hokkaido to get to the bottom of the mystery, following the trail of Vegatron radiation, they find a cave and proceed to explore it; hearing her Mother's voice (Lady Gandal playing a ruse) the two run to a chamber where they find the “King of Fleed” chain to a wall and he immediately recognizes Maria.

Koji, naturally suspicious of the situation and taking precaution, makes questions to the Prisoner, remembering Duke couldn't identified Maria any better the first time after so many years, not believing his answers; Maria takes Koji's gun and shoots at the chain, but Koji incapacitates her when the cave begins to shake. He carries Maria away and Lady Gandal orders Shuler to be ready for combat as Grendizer approaches.

Shuler/Gabi sneaked attacked the Mecha, though it avoids, Grendizer Ejects and fights the Beast, Duke demanding answers, but the fiend retorting that any attack on him would bring hatred from his sister, then zaps the hero with Vegatron Radiation. Koji and Maria exit the Cave and see the battle, Maria runs to stop them; Grendizer pushes Gabi away, but the monster tries another charge attack, which Grendizer repels with Anti Gravity Storm, lifting it to the air; Duke then uses Dizer Jump for a Double Harken attack, cutting the Monster's Right arm, then its face; the Imposter falls to his death as Gabi Gabi explodes mid air, Koji and Maria avoiding the debris.

Maria runs to her father only to see the Mask melt away, revealing the face of the now deceased Commander Shuler as his Body evaporates. Maria, realizing all was a trap, runs to be alone; Duke talks to her and tells her their parents still live in their hearts, she then screams her Parents names to the Horizon.

This is another guy that would fall well with the Voltron Robo Beasts.
