With winter break underway and an upcoming parade to look forward to, Lucario, Cinderace, and Floatzel found themselves looking around a local park to watch workers set up various carnival rides and attractions. As the group wandered about, Lucario and Cinderace stopped at one of the more complete stalls selling party poppers. One of the employees setting up the booth offered a few samples, even popping a few for demonstration. Each bang from the poppers rang through everyones ears for a few seconds and was accompanied by a shower of confetti to everyone's ammusement. Cinderace was taking a closer look at some of the samples when his ears perked up to all-too-familiar sounds of a balloon inflating and rubber stretching behind him.

Lucario on the other hand was fixated on some of the more intricate designs on some of the wrappers. After a few pats on the head to break his concentration, Lucario noticed Cinderace pointing behind him and turned to see Floatzel swelling out of control.

"Check it out Lucario, Floatzel's getting pretty big. Is this another trick?" Cinderace asked eagerly.

Lucario sighed flatly, almost sounding like he expected this. "Not one I signed up for..."

Looking down in confusion, Cinderace noticed Lucario's tail had ballooned to four times its normal size and his belly was starting to swell out from underneath his shirt.

"Oh..." was all Cinderace could muster. Realizing the precarious position he found himself in, Cinderace put on a brave face and chuckled. "Hahah! I'm in danger!"

Haven't seen much of Cinderace in a while so here's some more practice with facial expressions. Luckily Cinderace isn't elastic or we'd have three small parade floats in the making. Hopefully, Cinderace knows where to find some tie-down rope.
