I find it way more interesting that Sekk's people all look like him. So we have a certain "kind" or "race" of dragons here and I assume that each subject from a clan looks alike.
And that's where the General and his two companions come into play... where are THEY from? They look like three totally different races, hehe.
And yeah, I guess each clan is more or less in some kind of conflict with the other. It would make sense! ^^

Drink it in, people..!!!! The sheer regal aura being produced by Sekk'ral's Herculean entrance. The blinding, holy light showering down upon his impeccable form. The fullness of his latisismus dorsi, the swollen nature of his biceps, especially within his arm on the right part of the image, my god it looks about ready to burst out of his skin. This is the stuff that dreams are made of. I knew as soon as I saw the thumbnail of this page that it was drawn by a GENIUS!!!
It could be said that today's issue of My Mate continues to reveal more about Sekk'ral's origins, and that perhaps the Dragon King seated at the altar is Sekk'ral's father. But yet, I would counter and offer that today's My Mate update is also equally a celebration of Sekk'ral's emotional growth as a character. His reluctant yet triumphant return to his homeland to save his Fox Mate is a strong display of his devotion and love for Farin, and that Sekk'ral has become a changed drake. No longer does he run away from things he feels he cannot manage or salvage.
Sekk'ral has made mention that he doesn't get along with his family, in a thinly veiled statement back when he and Farin were in his stone cave home. But Sekk'ral's love for Farin is so insatiably powerful, that it causes Sekk'ral to return, not just to rescue Farin, but to confront his family once and for all. Farin has made Sekk'ral all the stronger for their love and life together, and this is the star stuff, the graceful material of a bonding love.

it hasn't nessecary by his father. It can be for example an uncle, an impostor or another family member who took over when the righfull ruller was not there, like for example the king (Sekal's father) was murdered and his son was not in the pallace to take his place...
