Today is the 80th anniversary of the infamous surprise attack by the Japanese Empire on America.
This attack happened in the early morning hours of December 7th, 1941, and would mark the official start for the US to join in on World War II.
This image serves as a Memoriam to the souls lost during this attack on both US and Japanese sides.
The image was inspired by the film poster of the 2001 movie Pearl Harbor. The words Tora! Tora! Tora!, mark the beginning of the attack, and at the same time is also the name of another great movie about this particular event.
