It's a very long story. Medley basically resurrected a dead body, as a science experiment. But the dragon guy can only stay alive while being mounted/attached to him. The dragon never really had a name, remembers his past life, or anything. And was on the verge of being a rotten corpse. Medley was playing god and resurrected him using holy scriptures, man-made cells, cybernetics, etc. Just things nobody in their world should be playing with. But got cursed to being stuck together forever.
