It's cold, it's late, and the sky is darkening. The forecast said something about rain, but trees block out the already overcast skies. The sun will have set by the time he arrives home.

Little doodle that, while not quite as colourful as the last one, I still quite like. There are some issues here and there - aren't there always? - but I also tried out some new shading things, and I think they turned out alright. Looking at the thumbnail now, I also find it funny just how long and floofy his tail is. It looks huggable! <3

I've been trying to go for colder colours since, well, where I live, winter is really setting in. I don't tend to do much in terms of seasonal pieces - though that's not to say that I'm ruling them out entirely - and that's especially so for portrait/non-environmental pieces. It also gives me an excuse to dress my guys up in jackets that I'd very much like to have in the real world, so that's cool!
