*sigh* I am personally ashamed of this, despite how semi-almost-decent it looks.
I had been trying to do artwork of my characters for some time, and trying to get artists on board who COULD draw... and failed. Finally, in frustration, I picked up a magazine that happened to show a picture of a chibi Boba Fett saying 'Hadou-ken!'... and I thought 'hey, maybe I can do a chibi version? There's gotta be some kinda math here...' and so, measuring the Boba drawing, I figured out a basic principle for it, and so... did this.
Kaleb was the main character of the fic, from whom I draw my own name here (he was and is my alias in a number of places). He's a Woren, for those who know Breath of Fire. For those who don't, he's essentially a cat-boy. (again, for the BoF fans, he's a BoF2 -type Woren, not a BoF4 type). He was particularly known for toting around the Dai Katana, a big-assed blade. (not as big as Sephiroth's but a sight larger than your runofthemill katana).
Rachel started out as his love interest, but soon became just a travelling companion, as Kaleb's on-off love-hate rivalry with a woman named Maeva made HER the love interest (irony). Rachel is a Windian (not a Wyndian), with vaguely pink wings, and tended to use double rapiers as weapons,
Dranok ChiGoth was a friend's character I borrowed, and then accepted as one of my own. Hailing from a clan who's hair is naturally black, he was ostracized for his gray/white hair, as it signified the inherent curse he bore; lycanthopy. When certain conditions were right, Dranok would revert to the ChiGoth (in his home language, it meant 'White Beast'), a lycanthrope of exceeding power and brutality. Needless to say, he's still trying to free himself of this curse after 450 years. (Did I mention the curse makes him immortal?)
Anyway.. yeah. That's the quick-and-dirty of Kaleb and crew. There were a dozen others, including Maeva, who I wish I'd put here, but I didn't trust my design of her wings. These three are the central heroes though.

You know, I've always wondered...if one is cursed to be immortal, but somehow breaks the cures, would their aging suddenly catch up to them until they shrivel and die on the spot, or would they just continue from the point they were cursed and live a full, mortal life?
