Something not unlike this happened here in Poland not that long ago. It was a major embarrassment for the Police, too.

With all the drug problems we have in the US, police raids are a regular thing and so are mistakes. I don't know the percentages but they occasionally go very badly. It's as if the team *knows* that they've made a mistake but due to some unimaginable dire need NOT to have made a mistake they practically tear the house down trying to find something...ANYTHING to give them some justification for raiding the house.

Sometimes a simple 'whoops' would do.

Plus, after all is said and done, you get a free new door. Bargain!

I would love to have this happen to me, well besides the whole handcuff thing.

Nice to see someone who isn't into the whole. "fuck dah police!" nonsense. Were normal people doing a job just like everyone else. So from College student studying criminal justice I thank you.

A beautiful oneshot but the hopeless romantic in me wishes for a follow up series detailing how that lovely officer might become a love interest. <3
