I was talking to
on a piece she recently did where she anthro-fied her friend's dog. She suggested I try it on my two cats after some discussion.
I tried to pull out Ayane's personality in this piece. After I was finished, Troy reminded me that Ayane isn't quite like this anymore. Which is half true. Around just he & I, she isn't. She's a little love whore always wanting to be pet. But bring someone new into the house... FORGET IT. Even if you have been here several times, she still hides. After you've been here for several hours and are quiet and non threatening she will eventually come out. It may take her 24-48 hours to do so. She'll come see my younger brother when he vists, but only after he' been here for at least a full day.
Anyways...
Ayane is an interesting cat. She's almost 11 years old. I tried to match her markings best I could. Including how her hair. I colored that to match the way her gray and white patches go down her neck. She's a timid cat, afraid of her own shadow at times. She has some neurological damage. I'm quite certain she received it from the little girl who was holding her by the neck when I went to pick her up from a family friend. Retardation if you will. She has a tendency to scratch the ever-loving hell out of her face (which I lightly colored pink in the image). It's only the one side. She also pokes herself in the eye too often.
We finally found a vet that gave her a depo shot which calms down that problem for up to 2 months. It's just sad she has to do these things to herself in the first place. But none the less I love her. Even if she is the MOST retarded cat I've had. And all the cats I have ever had are retarded. LOL
