Hey folks! Another Patreon lore doodle! I normally don't draw Mavõtur often but both this drawing *and* tomorrows drawing will feature them so as a quick rundown. The are the third species of Ëldimor, with the other two species being the Ormer and Drekir and they are in many ways a hybrid between a biological creature and a magical construct, they are capable of pulse resonance (which is important here) and tend to live for upwards of 800 years, combined with their innate magical abilities they are the dragonscapes best mages behind the Prejager and Balãr (Which are more or less semi immortal, godlike entities so... not a fair comparison)
In sivilão society they are the cast of Scholars that specifically bring knowledge to the Prejag, they also serve as a "pseudo general" on larger sivilão expedtions, using their flight and knowledge as well as their pulse communication to manage larger battles and using their magic to devastate your local heretics.

Pulse communication is the ability of pulse resonant beings to directly impart thoughts into the minds of those it wants to speak to. This is done by editing the reality around the being to force certain stimuli within a mind to communicate ideas, thoughts, and other things

Mavõtur are unable to speak words biologically, they are entirely unable to do so and as such rely solely on Pulse Communication to speak. This allows them to communicate privately with someone in any situation or to say the exact same thing simultaneously to different people in different locations. Talking with a Mavõt is a lot like talking to a thesaurus, unlike other creatures like Prejager and Balãr, mavõtur aren't as well controlled in pulse communication and the result is often that they will dump massive amounts of information into a listeners mind all at onceAs for Mavõtur

A mavõt isn't going to slowly tell you the history of their Õfuth, they are going to stuff it in your brain within a second, it is at best an overwhelming level of information and a massive headache and in some cases it can cause seizures and deaths

But the older a mavõt gets, the generally better it is about not melting minds and communicating in more approachable ways for ormer and drekir
