Tornadoes work too, I guess.
(I'm speaking as someone with severe lilapsophobia, the fear of tornadoes and hurricanes - especially tornadoes. I've had it since seeing a tornado outside my bedroom window the afternoon I graduated from first grade. Even so much as a severe thunderstorm watch can get me bunkering in the guest bathroom, which is the only enclosed room in our house with no windows. There's still the giant mirror, though. )
