Description:
Hector "Sonic" Vidal hailed from the island of Puerto Rico, where he and his parents once had a normal and peaceful life. Unfortunately, it was until one hurricane so strong flooded much of the island, and damages were so enormous that it would take a very long time for Puero Ricans to clean and fix things up. As a preteen, he had to walk down the flooded streets until he reached the school, whose interior was destroyed by the fallen roof; and afterwards pass by his favorite store, whose food items were scattered and messy; and then gaze at the burning gas station, whose store was getting robbed by looters. Life after storm was hard yet common among Puerto Ricans, who would usually take week or two to fix up, but if that last storm wasn't hard enough, the news had spread that another stronger hurricane could sink the entire island in a matter of 24 hours. As expected with such exaggerated news, Puerto Rico went on a rushed island-wide evacuation.

As the majority of people ran for available ships bound for nearest destinations, some such as Sonic's family went up for a dozen available airplances instead, but unbeknownst to everyone, a stronger hurricane had formed much earlier and was en route to the Carribean islands. Now hit by the hurricane, most of the airplanes underwent turbulence, and few broke down and crashed. Sonic's airplane managed to escape the hurricane attack, but its luck ran out when its jet turbine exploded just two hours later, causing the whole airplane down into land. That plane crash killed everyone except Sonic, who was held closed by his now-late parents. The young mourning dragon was then found by another preteen named Osito Lindo the lionbear, who brought the dragon into a two-story house, where Sonic would be tended by Osito's parents. Another hour later, the rescue team arrived at the plane crash. The location where the crash occurred was the southwestern coast of Florida.

Sonic, at the age of 15, started working as an electrician, mainly so as to help fix his new home whose electrical lines were often broken by storms, as well as to repay his new family with good faith for raising him. Osito on the other hand was studying computer science in college, in hopes of working in the Silicon Valley in the future. It was also the time that both Sonic and Osito developed their new fascination in muscles, mostly down to both viewing digital artworks of that theme and doing weekly workout sessions. At the age of 20, Sonic continued working as an electrician but his house had been increasingly improved and strengthened against storms, all thanks to his efforts, while Osito had graduated from college for his computer science degree. As of that moment, Osito decided to move out to San Francisco alongside Sonic, who was rather hesistant, especially risking leaving his adopted parents behind. Osito's father gave them a thumbs up, assuring Sonic that he and his wife were fine living at their own, and expressed that they both were geniunely happy to see Osito graduate and to live with the fact that Sonic took enough time to fix their house for the better. After a few days, Osito and Sonic had packed their things before a taxi cab, but not after hugging their tearful parents.

An hour later, both Osito and Sonic had arrived in San Francisco via airplane, despite Sonic's traumatic fear of such vehicle, and bought a medium-sized room in an apartment. While Osito immediately rode a taxi to the Silicon Valley, Sonic decided to roam around the neighorhood around his new home, where he found dozens of male bodybuilders living nearby, a gym, a donut shop, a convenience store, and a bar. For the rest of the day, Sonic had managed to make his very first friend in California, who went by the name Darrell Dergie, a purple dragon bodybuilder. In fact, Sonic was admiring the visible muscles of Darrell, who then sensed potential in his little blue friend. Darrell revealed that he had signed for the muscle growth experiment named 'the MALAKAS Project' and reveled with the fact that some of their neighbors joined the said project just a few months ago, and the benefits he had been enjoying, besides money. Sonic expressed his interest to join the project, but only when he had enough money, so Darrell gave some, much to the blue dragon's surprise.

After hearing everything about the MALAKAS Project from Sonic, Osito happily gave him a thumbs up, saying that Sonic could make a better example for an electrician, and brought him to a nearby military outpost, so as to sign Sonic up for the project. Within a week before his departure, Sonic took time working out in a local gym. It was also a time where he met two young boys named Aiven and Arcamax, who happened to be orphans struggling to finish high school. So Sonic spent the last half of the week, not only helping them in their studies and their assignments, but also assisting them in workout activities. And when his time was up, he requested Osito to look after the two boys, especially with their studies, in which the lionbear agreed, now that he had less workload in the Silicon Valley than he actually feared.

After a week, Sonic arrived at the mountain base, the main operation for the MALAKAS Project, where he would meet the main current instructor Timothy Soro. Surprisingly enough, they both knew each other, mainly because Timothy occasionally made digital artwork requests for Sonic. Still full with several recruits he was set to train, the brown fox assigned his gray wolf EJ to look after Sonic instead. While EJ heard what Timothy did for Sonic, he had also learned that Sonic also worked as a electrician, so EJ assigned the blue dragon to do a weekly maintenance on electrical power system across the mountain base. There were no significant changes in terms of power maintenance, but fellow non-recruit electricians praised him for being considerate with their wellbeing, looking after the power condition, ensuring safety of anyone from potential dangers, and making more long-lasting improvements to the electrical system, all despite being shy.

As he became a Soldier from Recruit, Sonic had practiced self-defense from Timothy (mostly Karate and Eskrima) and began using an old cattle prod as his main weapon, allowing the blue dragon to harness electrical power as another form of attack. He became a Super Soldier a month later and bought Jay Heartwing's two handcrafted weapons: another cattle prod but attached to a heavy cylindrical weight on its other hand, and a long-handled electrical sword. These two weapons would eventually make Sonic an effective warrior-like electrician. When alarms at one night blared across the mountain base, Sonic quickly brought his two weapons and ran into one area where the invasive group of Brisa Creek patrols were spotted. Realizing they were retreating down the hill, Sonic and the other Super Soldiers ran down after them, and the blue dragon was ruthless in knocking down those beavers.

Despite such incidents, Sonic moved on until December 25th, where everyone around the mountain base were celebrating Christmas Eve. Timothy Soro gathered up his friends in a fastfood restaurant, including Diego Dagdag, EJ Spenser, Wilbur Wallaby, Christopher North, Patih Jantung, Jay Heartwing, Hector "Sonic" Vidal, Dane Fushigi, Peri Longfox, Krister Gudilibat, and EJ Husky. The Christmas party consisted of many enjoyable games, film showings, buffet tables of various foods and drinks, etc. Overall, it lasted two hours until midnight, and then there would be another two hours of more activities past midnight, but some opted to retire and sleep.

Elated with the progress he had been through, Sonic hugged EJ and then Timothy Soro, before hitching a bus ride for the departure back to San Francisco, where he would been greeted by Osito, Darrell, Aiven and Arcamax, and his new friends with a welcome party. Sonic was happy to learn that Aiven and Arcamax not only excelled in higher school grades, but they were also legally adopted as Sonic's sons through Osito's heartwarming persuasion, in which the blue dragon came to put his new two sons and Osito in one big hug, much to Arcamax's slight discomfort. Unbeknownst to them however was a duffel bag of muscle growth serums, that Sonic had brought with Timothy and EJ's permission.
