The pony on the left is Pepper Splotch, a young colt who loves balloons and all their sounds and textures. He's also started to develop disorganized schizophrenia which gives him word salad and makes him do things in odd orders, often forgetting what he was only recently in the middle of. The pony on the right is Pepper's friend, Songbird. Songbird is a mute who communicates best through music.
