She sets out in the early morning, phone camera and Polaroid in paw. The keys, One for the ignition, one for the locks, and a big gold disk commemorating the dealership in Putnam Connecticut where the old girl first set out from all those years ago, jingle in her jacket pocket. Today she will investigate the old Sears on Diamond Hill. She lovingly strokes the front fender as she approaches the driver's door, unlocks it, and sits her padded butt down in the plush leather seat. "Its like driving a livingroom couch" is how the older generation describes it. They've got a point....for once. in goes the ignition key. the transverse-mounted 4.9 liter V8 roars to life, as the digital dash lights up bright green. She pulls the column-mounted shifter from park to drive, and places her footpaw upon the gas pedal. here we go~
