The thing is her brother might just be off somewhere and not wanting to speak to his family but being the cynic I am a lot of the time I do fear the worst.

I hope Star finds her brother soon. I lost track of mine for several years and just last week caught back up. He's doing really great far far far away from the rest of my family. He even said he was going to send me a christmas gift! I'm so happy and motivated to break free like he did.

He definitely wasn't expecting that kind of response in the last panel. I can't wait to see his reaction on the next page. :)

I'm going to assume Alex left the family from a dissagreement with his father and I assume Star was close to Alex as the fun loving and laid back 2nd oldest. The disagreements are unkown but I'm going to say, my personal opinion, that maybe he is gay based on her father calling Alex "filth" which led him to leave. Really hope to see Alex in the future and maybe reunite with his lil sis.
