Oliver here is a homicide detective, cursed by Mesprit, the emotions Pokemon as a result of his parents' misdeeds, to never be able to love them back. Feeling robbed of a normal life with a normal range of emotions, Oliver used his indifferent and biological view of others' emotions and actions to become a criminal psychologist and detective, hoping to use his line of work to find Mesprit and make them pay for their curse.
