Since I started these 3 days ago, I actually had ran out of fuel that day and needed to make more charcoal to finish them.
The woods near the house have plenty of hard woods that make fantastic charcoal.
The project was picked up at 3:00 PM today and finished at 5:18 PM.
The moment I picked up the hammer and began to forge it started raining, but I didn't let that stop me. I wanted to finish the job and I did so under the cover of a tarp wrapped around me.
I have to say this is probably my best pair of tongs yet.
