there is a pig by the bridge now. massive in its size and has placed itself in such a spot that no truck could reach it to even try and remove the beast.

it has caused no trouble. destroyed no property. certainly it has not even made a sound save for its breath. a rumble of air from nostrils the size of dinner plates, as if it slumbers. but its eyes do not close for long.

for days, the people who lived in this town feared crossing the bridge. may the beast turn in anger and snatch them, a troll guarding its treasure.

months now it has remained. the water of the creek lapping its flank and the grass no longer bent under its form. how long will the pig remain? what has caused it to be here and what will cause it to leave again?

the season is changing again. i believe we will find out soon.
