I would've kept Kit's voice stable. I heard that the better of his voices died but I would've gotten a less weak-sounding replacement.

Well, Dana Hill did the voice for him in the series, but they went with a different actor for the movie. I'm guessing Dana was too ill, as she died near the movie's release.

I prefer to chalk it up to puberty in the movie, seeing as how Max dropped half an octave.

I actually had to check to be sure, it's been so long since I've seen an episode. But no, if the Immernet can be trusted, Alan Roberts did Kit's voice for nine episodes (and did an episode of Batman), whereas RJ Williams was Kit in 5 episodes, and has a bigger resume.
Couldn't tell you which was the wimpy one.

I agree! I like how he knows he's cool in this drawing. Allthough if they did make the character more cocky, someone would complain they were messing with the original cartoon.
