This was my final, operatic solo work, performance, made in december of 2008 for my "Junior Qualifying Jury". Basically composition majors get 4 years of comp. lessons, and 2 years of singing (or instrumental) lessons. Passing the JQ means I have successfully finished my halfway point in my music degree.
I posted it up now because I want to show off my best singing work for the :icon:furrysingers: page. This is the best I've ever sung and I wanna advertise myself in the best way possible just in case other composers are looking for singers to "realize" their works.
Lyrics: Olindo Guerrini
Music: Francesco Paolo Tosti
Written in 1879, in Italian.

SJSU! I owe it 100% to my instructor Joseph Frank. He's one of the most brilliant musicians I've ever seen. He sang at the Metropolitan Opera house for many years, along side huge opera stars, like Pavarotti.
I was incredibly lucky to have the chance to train with Joe. He gave me training from 2006-2007.
