War has all sort of casualties, especially among the survivors. A lot of them, a few especially, feel like they have things to atone for, old debts to loved ones to repay. Some have an easier time on the road to healing than others.

This story was done as part of the March 2007 Challenge at the Allspark; essentially, a writer could use another one's characters or fictional universe to tell a story of their own. I tossed it about for a while, then decided to go with Headline, an Autobot journalist created by the moderator, Newsy.
