Max sat proudly atop his newly acquired mount as he rode the canine through the recently conquered territory.
Progress along the trail was slow but that gave Max the opportunity to introduce the inhabitants to their new feline rulers. And what a display he made. Hundreds of pounds of feline perched proudly atop a canine no greater than 70. The dog shook and panted as paw by paw he moved along the dirt, each movement threatening to be his last. Were he to fall, that lion would come crashing down and likely crush him, providing incentive to stay upright but that made it no easier to carry his massive rider.
With a collapse nearly inevitable, the parade continued on, unsteady step by unsteady step.
