Some time years ago, I had wanted to have all my existing characters drawn together, but it was difficult. I started off with individual shots, then maybe some group shots of a handful, and even tried to make some at a good scale with the intent of combining them into a group image later (like a winter scene with all four bunnies and Erin and some others... but I stopped at 5 characters. XP) I even tried a simple style, like fixed level of detail for doodles about half the height of a landscape page.... ah wellp.
I was eventually inspired by another artist who drew what they called teeny-tinies to try to go even smaller, challenge myself to include just enough personality and individual styles in a small scale, and just draw, draw out as many of them as I could on a page. X3 I'd say that this brought me closer than any other previous effort had ever gone, and so, uh, I want to say thank you,
straille for pursuing a concept so lighthearted and fun and quick, that my pencil-only doodles still don't hold a candle to. It was enough to bring joy to such a massive pursuit. Anyway, I just saw this artist is having some very difficult times fighting cancer of all things, so uhm, I'd like to encourage y'all to send some good feels their way.
(There's a second page somewhere I'll have to post once I'm done digging up more rarely-seen characters, and some others of friends.)
Soo... left to right, top to bottom:
Fascia (slime mold), Anastasia (Easter bunny), Candace (calico bunny), Riley (fluffbun), Erin (bat), Tamara (bunny), Caitlyn (lynx), Tavvycat (snow leopard & my sona);
Allie (flying squirrel), Trevor (Afghan hound), Sonnet (mink), Emilie (housecat), Ashley (fennec fox), Reoh~Nami (Catheri, an alien cat), Caiden (lynx);
Isabelle (brown squirrel), Harriet (red panda), Jacqueline (field mouse), Mica (Quimito, a kind of dragon), Cake (pancake chinchilla), Mr. Sivat (Vulcan sehlat).
