Guilds need to know things. That might appear an obvious statement, but the brokering of privileged information has become something of a internal, high stakes games in the world of Iyr, as the factions trade money, favors, and prestige to earn a leg up over their possible rivals. As such, the skilled and shady figures talented in acquiring such intel to trade can stand to make a pretty penny by leveraging anything and everything in their arsenal, from loose lips overheard in taverns to the fruits of professional espionage. That's the world Raleigh lives in, and she loves every second of it.

As a shadowstrider, a fae-race adept in stealth and shadow magics, she had a leg up over many of her fellow Intelligence Brokers, and has already set up a vast web of carefully selected contacts and sources to be her eyes and ears where she is not. Her name is deeply respected among the Guilds, her intel always on point, and always useful. However, trust is another thing entirely, as she could be a rival just as easily as a friend by the time the next sun rises, with her true allegiances a mystery... if she even has any. Cunning, sarcastic, and elusive in equal measure, no one sees her unless she wants them too, and whether her arrival is for business, pleasure, or both is nearly impossible to determine until the last moment.

Her past is a complete mystery, and no one seems able to track down any family, friends, or even her contacts, though she insists she possesses all three. What is known, is that nothing major happens in the criminal underworld, the heights of royal politics, or the dwellings of nobles that miss her gaze, leading some to theorize that she actually steals her info from other Brokers directly, though of course nothing can be proven. She at least seems averse to violence, and has a keen eye for finding bloodless solutions to most problems. However, she can be quite vengeful, and a slight against her will not go unanswered, even if the unlucky recipient is unaware that the misfortune they suffered from was enacted from strings her claws briskly pulled.

Just stay on her good side, show her the respect she deserves, and stay out of her way. If you're lucky, she might even decide to reward you for being a good boy, or girl.~

Another female enters the fray in my enternally growing list of gals, this time a shadowstrider named Raleigh! Hope to get more of her in the future, but for now she's primarily a lore character!
