Running down the hall, they heard clashing metal, and less gunfire. Copleand was starting to move a bit more, but was still being held by Circuit as they came toward the situation. At the intersection, there Torrent cutting someone's gun in two and punching them to the floor, as well as two more guards drawing guns on her. In addition, there was two more coming out of a room, and Claire trying to get away with someone that looked exactly like Ashley.
Ash locked eyes with her identical counterpart, but Circuit's focus was on Torrent and the guns pointed at her. The guns jammed instantly, giving Torrent the chance to knock on to the ground and wrestle with the other one. "Grab Claire, Quick," Torrent shouted out, "She's with an imposter!"
Hearing that, Circuit turned toward Claire and the being too, and started to run. It was stopped short, however, when the monster, Came charging down the hallway, and slammed it's massive claw into the wall. Cracks formed in it as it loomed over Ashley, and Ashley's face met it with a faint smile, "If only we had less problems."
"Legend!" Claire cheered for it and reached out a hand, but then Ash got a hold of it, but she still kept trying, unaware of what was happening in that second.
"Claire, we need to get you out of here," Ash said, and pulled her, "It's not safe!"
The monster roared again, and tentacles went to reach for. Ash backed away, pulling Claire with her as best she could, but her hand slipped free. The only reason the tentacles didn't get her was because they recoiled from Circuit shooting it. The monster turned to them all snarling, and all limbs were ready to strike.
"Claire!" Ash called out of her, but Claire only looked back with a tired look and confusion, "Don't go with her!" No answer, and she just left with the person as the monster was blocking the way.
"Take Copleand, She's getting better." Circuit rolled Copleand off her shoulder and held her gun more firmly, "I'll hold it off."
Indeed, she was getting better. When Copleand fell off Circuit, she caught herself on the ground and slowly started to get up. "Ow..."
Torrent quickly helped her get up to her feet, and the girls made for a run around the monster.
"Circuit, you can't beat that thing alone." Ash said, "Let me back you up."
Circuit shot at the beast when it reached for Torrent and Copleand, "Don't worry about me." She fired another two shots, "Claire's safety is what matters her." Then she made a run at the monster, and heel kicked off the beasts large claw.
Ash looked between her friend and the child beyond the beast, her ears lowered back, "I'll come back for you, Ana." Ash said and spread her wings. She flew over the beast while it was wrestling with Circuit.
Circuit's kick failed against the monster, but she held onto it afterwards to try and jump at the beast's face. The beast lunged at her trying to bite, and it was met with a hard punch to the nose. Circuit then tried to grab onto it's neck where there were scales, but the best slammed itself into the wall and pressed her against it. Circuit caught herself and landed on her feet, shaken from the hard pressed, she didn't get a chance to dodge the slam from the beasts claw, and she blocked it. The strength and weight of this claw was forcing her onto her knees, and then, a tentacle wrapped around her legs. The monster pulled her feet out from under her and slammed her against the ceiling, the right wall, and then the floor again. Then threw her at the wall, and Circuit lied there on the floor. A spark came from the back of her, and she lifted her head, starting to get up, lifting her gun in her left hand. Before she could fire a shot, the beast slammed its claw right on her hand, and crushed the gun in the process. It roared right in her face and glared at her, but then... it turned away and started to run down the hall after the others. Circuit could only see the tail in reach, and, even in her state, she reached out and grabbed it, struggling to her feet, she tried to pull on the tail to slow it down or stop it, but the beast just shook its tail a bit and bashed her against a wall. She was slower to get up, her left arm collapsed under her weight, but she still forced herself to stand up. The beast was too far now. Circuit looked to the other dead guards and grabbed two of their side arm pistols. Then she limped on her right leg a bit as she tried to run after the others.
