I almost forgot to share this acrylic painting I've worked on in secret as an anniversary gift for my partner. The scene was inspired by our vacation this summer when we rented a small farmhouse to spend some time far away from the city noise and light pollution. We made sure to pick a new moon period when the nights are truly dark and the stars are beautifully visible. It was also during the meteor shower period in August so we saw many shooting stars, one of them was incredibly bright and visible for a slightly longer time.

Editing the scanned version to make it look as close to the real version as possible was truly hard this time. I think it's mainly because of the blue paint I used which is somewhat shinier compared to the other colors.
