I do have an external view but it's old. I'm going to be doing up a fresh exterior. I like asymmetric ships. This one is fairly symmetrical though some parts of the redesign I'll be adding like the extra flack gun and laser bayonet.

During the conflict, war sloops were built to move in tight formations, bristling with bayonets and charging more static cruisers. The aim is to strafe close enough to slice that beam right across their engines or hull. Though full on ramming occurs too. Often very devastating to both ships.

Ships like that make a nice setting for suicide squad teams x3
Could also have a whole bridge detachable as a lifeboat, heh

I love deckplans! Am I right in thinking the bow section with the several crates stacked on top of each other is a cargo hold of some sort? How long did it take to draw?

Yes that is the cargo hold. It has some sort of conveyor for freight that goes up the walls and secures in place. This actually took me a couple years. I sketched a good portion of it, then worked on other things. Later added color, later added more ship parts and eventually colored the rest of it. But if I sit down and work on a ship while focused, it will probably take a few days.
