I was thinking it looked more like a book cover, though it would definitely make a epic postcard
The backdrop and the obvious Leonardo Da Vinci vitruvian man splayed cockaroach (that could be wrong)
Coupled with one of my favorite quotes for its contrary interpretations (man is the measure of all things)
Makes for a rather intriguing message (if there is one intended) or a very visually appealing concept, IMO
All in all, I don't think there is anything you could do to make it any better other than it is

All kinds of funky, but if your wanting nitpicky criticism then I'll have a ponder.
The only thing I can really pick out is that the wings on the left hit the edge of the circle, the legs on the right don't quite, so the image perhaps doesn't appear centred unless the goal was to make the wings appear bigger than the legs.
That's about all I've got, arts not really my strong point.

My initial reaction was definitely influence from the Vitruvian Man. The title certainly fits given how the original VM drawing expressed the idea of how a human's figure is the "source" of proportion in relation to architecture as well as a comprehensive study of the proportions of the male figure.
I like your choice of colors and how they react to each other, it definitely has that "sacred tome" look to it. I'm not an expert on insects, but the anatomy appears perfectly realized.
Curious as to what else you have in store for this project. As for the concert poster idea, the image and title certainly makes me think of a band about to perform a concept album in its entirety for a show...
It also makes for an epic postcard as well. :)
