At my Aikido dojo, my weapons bag is the same as two other students'. So to prevent my bag from being taken mistakenly (which nearly happened twice now) I have made this patch which I've printed out onto my adhesive fabric paper (finally found a use for it) to identify my bag from the others.
This is actually symbolic mostly. My dragon half holding the bokken, is the warrior spirit. The unicorn with a quill is the artistic spirit. The white obi is for indifference to rank, and the hakama is to identify Aikido (and cos they are just cool). The jo across the lap is that of at rest, for contemplation and serenity.
The writing is something along the lines of 'kicking arse though peace and meditation'.
