Toby Napping On A Sofa by Seth Triggs - my edit
Seth uses some of the most subtle colours - a sort of complexity and gentleness that reminds me of some of the old Japanese Ukiyo-e print makers. When i saw this picture of Toby i had a flash of it as such a print - with some Western poster-style influences.
i think this is finished. i might want to simplify the hair...not sure. It's finished for now.
There a couple sneaky gradients here - as the wall and move towards the lower frame they get lighter. That felt like a very Ukiyo-e style thing to do. ^_^
