
One of my small art obsessions is giving the impression of thick soft fur while highlighting certain body shapes that are normally visible only on relatively thin bodies. That and drawing paws with large fingers.

It'd be fun to see a redline version of this where you trace the shaved anatomy to show the bone structure.
This also reminds me, there's this youtube channel with this dog groomer that's become really popular the last half year. For drawing fur, especially considering groomed fur and different fur types, it is a wonderful page filled with many examples. Watching the trimming, or comparing the wet versus dry, or even juggling concepts of how they would deal with their own thick layers of fur, it's all very educational.
