It's a Sfw pic, nobody will be here to read through what i'm saying, so here are some words.
Back in mid to early 2021 there was this kind person on Nrwgrounda that would often comment on the drawings that i posted. Most of the time they gave some lenghty uplifiting reviews, and even if shorter, equally effective to brighten my day.
I shouldn't rely on numbers and approval, specially when we're talking about the kind of content i create, that being mediocre fanart porn. Am i seeking for attention? Sincerely would want to decline, but the increasing and decreasing funny internet points speak too loud.
But i digress.
When something posted on Twitter or FA had an underwhelming reception, what was most valuable at the end of the day was going through every delightful word that person wrote.
Our interactions were brief, but meaningful. With their words they convinced me to see the strenghts of my silly drawings where i couldn't. It gave me enough confidence when there was none.
However, eventually they stopped commenting. For a moment i thought they were busy, eventually they would come back to say a little hello. Days became weeks, which became months, and no more news about this person.
At one point they had focused their attention to another artist. That is alright, time passes and people eventually find other kind of content to fit their tastes. That said, eventually they'd just vanish from the platform, leaving no more of their thoughts around.
At the end of the day, time just passed by and interests changed. Part of being a content creator is accepting that you'll inevitably will be left behind or forgotten by the people around you. There's no change to that, for life keeps going and it's unlikely that someone would dedicate their lives to another internet person - specially a mediocre niche porn artist.
If you ever read this bro, i cannot express how grateful i am for each and every single one of your reviews. It was worth much more than any Retweets, comments, Qrts, favourites, and so on. Because it felt genuine, it wasn't built upon the foundation of internet clout or attention, those words were a sincere feedback of someone who just happen to like what i created.
Mad respect for you, friend. Much more than validation by pretty words, the brief moments we spoke were the only genuine interactions online i went throughout 2021.
You, reader, who happen to have reached so far, should know that you can make a transforming positive effect on someone. You make the difference and will be missed when you eventually keep going your own separate path.
Sometimes i do wonder how you're doing since then. Hopefully well and safe.
