The quiet finale with double the metaphorical deaths! RIP, both Eurydice's teenage timidness and Baby Knashford's innocence. Originally this was going to be a 2-page ending set outside a hospital in Tokyo, with a bit more dialogue of Eury describing her abusive childhood with Lupia, and trying to explain why she kept her a secret to her son, who is now permanently sad and traumatized because of it.
Oh, and also there was a cutaway where the Jackass crew had bought Eury's lipo-fat instead of Tom Green, and had pranked one of their guys into drinking a fat-shake, haha wg shenanigans. But honestly, all I really wanted to say fit right here. (Panel #1 dude is a Japanese serow and #9 is a giant salamander)
Hope you enjoyed the storytime, this isn't the last of the flashback strips (you'll still see Kid-Hating Mitts and Baby Ford on occasion) nor to say Eurydice won't ever get big again (that'll probably happen in mid-40s when shark metabolism slows down).
Not sure if doing a Christmas strip, with Omnicron now on the island I'm too fretful about lockdown threat (pop. is 90% vaxxed tho) and this has been a shite year to begin with, but who knows...
