"... then this one is a real blast from the past and you can see my own typing on it when I sent it to Vogue or was it ApeToday I dunno but anyway I did this photoshoot with some great guys about '68 or '69 and we really got into the getting back to nature stuff with me being a monkey and everything very big back in the late sixties yeah with the Beetles doing all the roof-top crawl gigs and going under the stones and all the parozone we dropped it was great in those days I can tell you but this was the idea of the creative director but we didn't call them that back then they were more of a guru in tie-dyed frocks truth be told and they wanted something raw and primitive for me to do so I sat up on a log in the buff and smiled for the camera and we did some other shots but they all ended up in a fine-art magazine for the ladies and some of the more artistically inclined gentlemen if you know what I mean and then we submitted it to all the advertising houses but none of 'em bit.
