Full background commission for 
of his character Anpaytoo and her dolphin companion Echo exploring the frigid waters of the north. I wanted to lean this one into a colder climate than what we normally see with merfolk, since winter is fast approaching, which led me to think of fur seals, which led me to think of the movie Song of the Sea, and wanting to try and emulate the art style. (Fantastic movie btw, if you've never seen it please go treat yourself, its amazing!)
