a short story about the past of these two: Alae was a nameless ex slave in gemstone mines, after some plot twists on her life (and a mutiny) she become pirate and then a mercenarie soldier for a troup of elfs in a long past war, thats where she gain the name of Alae, educating widely and acquiring much respect and renown, becoming citizen of a major elf city and getting married to a fellow soldier elf, amassing a small fortune with spoils of war, enough to buy a farm, after 12 years her husband dies (story for another day), being a widow she begins her new mission of buying kobold slaves to educate them, improve their quality of life and restore their freedom, at that time it was where she met a little dog girl named Roxanne.


Roxanne joined Alae's village at age 10, was educated and grew up within Alae's own home, where she raised her as her own daughter, teaching her everything she knew and even more (since she never where good at combat or military stuff). Roxanne always preferred to spend her time studying between medical and religious books, eventually becoming a very skilled Cleric, always seeing Alae as her role model and her source of inspiration, she does not know the exact moment when that affection turned into passion, and then fell in love with her, due to the taboo of becoming the partner of which could be her mother, she has always kept the secret which has worn her down emotionally over time, because of this Roxanne became Alcoholic, a really worrying topic for Alae who still sees her as a daughter

on the present day, Roxanne is the Administrator of the house of Alae, and to commemorate the 16 years that Roxanne has lived there, Alae decided to give her one of her old dresses (after some touch-ups with the tailor for the difference in height and "chest size"), roxanne pick her favorite and enjoy every moment spending with Alae, daydreaming that maybe one day Alae will see her more than just as a daughter, even knowing that would be considered a "forbidden romance"
