Mercurium isn't usually one to show a threatening posture, much less his fangs in such an open manner. I figure this is the last thing a corrupt mortal sees as their soul is ripped from their body, ready to be consumed. You can even see a slight glow from the gullet as Mercurium's body is preparing to hold a soul with in it. Also little to no saliva, Mercurium's not much of drooly boy.
I love pocQ style and detail. So much definition on the Tongue and gullet.
