Just a pretty quick coloring experiment, I was trying to paint a "mirage" effect in the desert. I realized I need to practice more with different light / landscapes effects, like fog, storms, objects far in the distance and so on. Hopefully I will have enough time to practice, and in that case you can expect to see more small paintings like this. In the end I have to say I'm quite satisfied, though maybe the mirage effect could have been better (I made it a bit too large I feel).
Also, I finally decided to draw again my character Azad and his fierce war-chicken Tara. Considering he lives in the same general area of Nur, the two may meet... who knows ;)
