Biography:
Before finding her way to the Great Valley, Ruby and their family of Feathered Runners lived in an old observatory at Hanging Rock National Park, the place provided them with everything they needed to live a good life in the Mysterious Beyond, such as food, cover, and fresh water from a nearby spring, if they needed anything else, they would go out scavenging for it. One day, while she was 8, Ruby and her family were out looking for supplies at a beach, when they came across a boat floating in the sea, and on board it was an egg, along with a handwritten note which said... "To anyone who finds our baby, please take him into your hearts and give him a good home. Saving him was all we could've done, a broken-hearted Mother and Father".

Feeling sorry for the unborn child, Ruby's family took the egg home and cared for it until it hatched. Although when it did, they were shocked to learn that the egg contained a baby Sharptooth! not just any Sharptooth... but a baby Bigbiter! The most feared Sharptooth species known to all dinosaurs! despite this, Ruby's family had no intention of abandoning the child, instead deciding to take him in and raising him as one of their own, and giving him the name "Chomper". Ruby absolutely loved her new, yet strange brother! He was great company, and added a lot of excitement to her family's daily life. And when he was old enough, Ruby took him scavenging with her, exploring the Mysterious Beyond Together with him, and her two other siblings.

Everything seemed perfect, until... Red Claw arrived... along with his raptor partners Screech and Thud, Ruby had unknowingly lead the trio back to Hanging Rock while out scavenging, and they saw the family of Feathered Runners as their next meal. Ruby's parents created a diversion, getting the attention of Red Claw and Thud while they told Ruby to take Chomper and run for her life, she may have been fast but was no match for Red Claw's minion Screech, who would have killed her, if Chomper hadn't fought back, allowing them to escape and hide until Red Claw and his goons left. It was night by the time they were gone, and Ruby returned home to Observatory to check on her family, however, much to her horror, the only thing she found were the lifeless bodies of her parents... who appear to have succumbed to their wounds from Red Claw and Thud. And with no sign of her siblings anywhere, she believed they were be dead too...

Chomper said he had never seen anyone more sad than Ruby in his entire life... The vicious Sharptooth took almost everything Ruby loved away from her, her home, her parents, her old way of life, in just mere moments, it was all gone. With this, Ruby took up a parental role for Chomper, taking care of him and treating him as if she were his mother. Needing a new home and supplies, the duo headed for the Great Valley City, knowing it is the only place they could possibly be safe from Red Claw. There was an issue however, the Great Valley wasn't kind to Sharpteeth, so Ruby had to smuggle Chomper in, it took some convincing, but she managed to get the both of them inside the city's walls without much suspicion.

Once they were in they took refuge in a cave where they could live more in secret, although this didn't last long as the leader of the Treestar Chasers, Littlefoot himself, accidently stumbled upon Chomper, and freaked out, causing him to run for help. Ruby tried to stop him but Littlefoot clubbed her in the head with a rock knocking her out... Causing Chomper to yell out, much to Littlefoot's surprise... causing him to slow down and speak to the Sharptooth. After a brief explanation from Chomper, and him being introduced to the gang-o-five, along with an apology from Littlefoot and few heart-to-heart talks, Chomper and Ruby were soon accepted into the ranks of the Chasers! With Ruby now being an accepted resident of the Great Valley.

Ruby and Chomper are still living in the Great Valley till this day, they've moved out of their old home from the caves and into a hotel which had been repurposed into an apartment, giving them a place to stay with proper heat and plumbing. Although this doesn't mean all is well for Ruby, to ensure she keeps her new home and be paid to provide necessities for her and her brother, she has to constantly run errands for the Great Valley's residents. She mainly works as a messenger or a delivery girl, although sometimes she heads out into the Mysterious Beyond to scavenge for supplies, it's a busy and time consuming job that leaves her with little time to take care of Chomper. Thankfully the city's residents are willing to work together and help her out too, such as Mr. Clubtail getting her lunch and dinner a few times every week, or Mrs Maia helping to babysit Chomper when she's gone, and of course... the Treestar Chasers! Who are more than willing to join her if she has to go out scavenging. Despite the struggle, Ruby knows she can take on any of life's hardships knowing there's a friendly community and good friends by her side to support her.


Skills:
Ruby has by far the fastest land speed out of all her friends, she is also capable of leaping higher and further than any of them as well.

As she's been living in the Mysterious Beyond for most of her life before arriving at the Great Valley, Ruby has more knowledge of the outside world than most of her friends, and is thus better at navigating it, knowing where the best scavenging locations are, which routes to take, and areas full of Patrolling Sharptooth Raiders to avoid.

Ruby mainly uses a Wrist-Mounted Crossbow which fires darts as her weapon of choice, while not particularly strong on it's own, the darts she carries are often tipped with poisons or sedatives, which she uses to slow down any attackers chasing her, while she makes a run for it. If she's unable to outrun or escape her target, she will attempt to hide from them, despite her bright colors, Ruby is surprisingly capable at stealth, using the silhouette of her feathered body to blend in with leaves and bushes, and with her crossbow, she can takes shots while hidden without revealing her position.

Notes:
I decided to change Ruby's species to an Anzu, as it makes more sense considering the size of her and her parents in the TV series, while not exactly an Oviraptor, I think it's similar and recognizable enough as one in terms of design. It also makes more sense from a geological point as the Anzu Wyliei is found in North America like the other members of the Treestar Chasers.
