holy sh|t! Thats realistic art wow and maked traditional way? Are that aqarell or oil?

I painted in black and white with gouache and watercolor (aquarelle) then colored in Photoshop.

I konw how many work are to make finish such a work. But coloring then in photoshop seems to like double work with it. Its wonderfull and double respect !

It's not too bad. I can color these pretty fast. When you consider it, all the rendering (shading and lighting) is actually done.

I create a "paints" layer and a background "flats" layer in Photoshop. To make the "paints" layer I make a color fill layer (black), paste the black and white paint into the mask, then command-i (invert/negative) that... Then I rasterize the fill contents and can just paint directly into the fill portion of the layer.

The most tedious part of the process is the flatting in of the bg color.

Maybe I'll do a tutorial on my process at some point.

I was use Photoinpact 12. I was nowhere see tutorials for drawing , and how to do, so I was learning from myself flovly wery slowly. In the days are many problem with my PC so I make art on analog way with ink and watercolore . <--big loOol for myself (:P

i'm loving it, just for the flow of motion and the colours alone. when you're talking about a clown character, i think these colours are good choices. they sort of convey the general feeling of a clown even though we haven't seen his face yet.

i really like the shading on the overall snap, for some reason. it reminds me of something out of like, 'the stranger'

i'm trying to work out what the clown equivalent of cutting your enemy's head off is... taking their squeaky nose perhaps?
