If Barry is the Jekyll of the Entertainment Emporium, then Barbara would be the Hyde. And yes, she's more than aware of it.
Where once Barbara would have been more than happy to stay in control, now she and Barry have settled their issues. So when Barry puts the hat on (or Barbara really wants to come out), then Barbara takes Barry's place.
Though Barbara may gladly dot and tease Barry as if she was his mother, she does support the receptionist when he feels down, even providing some useful tips for Barry. And highly approves of his and Vale's relationship.
Though to Barry's annoyance, it seems Barbara gets along very well with Maya. And has already discussed the idea of getting Barry in feathers one day...

Honestly, I didn't intend on originally making her a recurring character (already have enough as it is). But the idea of her being a split personality to Barry was very approved concept. So now we have another Lady in Purple! At least unlike Dana, she shows much less skin.
