I suppose you don't know who is Gryf ? here is a little text to introduce him
He is the best friend of Danaël and the bravest of the Legendary, but his courage and so connected with an impulsive character which is often worth to him troubles. His claws of man-animal are very sharp and can cut the rock.

His complete nickname is Gryfenfer, and its real name Anoth-cha. He was born to Jaguarys, a city hidden from the eyes of the men, and he and his twin brother Kel-cha are the children of king Wis-kas. But this one died abruptly while Anoth-cha, still child, had fled in the vain hope to fetch the human beings to cure him. He was then captured by traffickers of monslaves (contraction of monster slave) who tore away his katseye (talisman preventing him from making one crisis of chakounia), making him lose the memory. He was raised as monslave to fight against diverse monsters, and won his pen name, Gryfenfer, who will be his adult's name, before avoiding and joining the Legendary.
